Overview

The Village of Millbrook strategically prioritized EV charging accessibility to serve residents, employees, and visitors while strengthening local infrastructure.

By installing EV chargers at Town Hall in partnership with the Town of Washington, this initiative supports a growing need for reliable charging while reinforcing the community’s commitment to sustainability.

Beyond providing essential infrastructure, the project enhances tourism, stimulates economic growth, and sets a benchmark for other communities looking to expand their EV readiness.

Making the EV chargers accessible to residents, employees, and visitors was a strategic decision aimed at supporting the community’s diverse needs. The chargers are in regular use and the average charger visit is nearly three hours. We believe that means that many of these folks are engaged in economic activity in Millbrook during that time.
