Overview

Installing EV charging infrastructure at SUNY Schenectady supports the college’s clean energy initiatives while expanding access for the broader community.

Chargers were deployed across the 57-acre campus—including the main parking area, the School of Music lot, and the Center for Science and Technology—to make e-mobility convenient for faculty, staff, students, and local visitors.

The project also aligns with the City of Schenectady’s Smart City initiative, reinforcing the region’s leadership in sustainable transportation.

Providing electric vehicle drivers with new charging stations on our campus is another excellent example of how the college is here to serve our students, faculty, staff, and the community, now and into the future.
