Overview
As part of a long-term strategy to position Oswego for future success, planning for EV charging began in 2022. To accommodate growing demand and enhance accessibility for residents and visitors, charging stations were installed at high-traffic, community-oriented locations—including the lakeside park, ice rink, city pool, and downtown district. The project elevates Oswego as a forward-thinking community destination that meets the evolving needs of today’s drivers.
Our mission is to strategically position Oswego for success in the long term, and what better way to do that than to embrace the rise in popularity of electric vehicles and to better accommodate our residents who may already have electric vehicles.
