Lynkwell and EOPA wrap up the 2024 EV Tour
Lynkwell was thrilled to sponsor and participate in the Elected Officials to Protect America’s (EOPA) United for Health and Energy Security tour, which journeyed down the East Coast advocating for the advancement of electric vehicle infrastructure and showcasing cutting-edge EV technology. The tour kicked off in our home region, the Capital District of New York State. Lawmakers toured our 20,000 square-foot electric vehicle supply equipment manufacturing facility before the first press conference in Albany. The tour saw tremendous success, with local leaders at each stop championing the benefits of electric vehicles.
Our Director of Partnerships & Engagement, Kate Kruk, proudly represented Lynkwell in Albany, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Georgia, highlighting the public health and energy security benefits of transitioning to EVs. Kate drove her Ford F-150 Lightning on the nearly 3,000-mile journey and shared her compelling perspective as a former elected official and current EV advocate at press conferences throughout the tour.
Lynkwell extends our gratitude to all the local lawmakers and partners of the tour, including the Climate Action Campaign, National Electric Vehicle Association, Alliance for Clean Energy New York, Charge EVC, Lightning Clubs of America, Environmental Defense Fund, PSGE and Zeem.
Please read on for a recap of media coverage from throughout the tour.
